Building Skills for Better Community Health

To strengthen the impact of our outreach programs, Humble Vessel Foundation & Clinic recently organized a capacity-building workshop for community health workers, nurses, and volunteers.

Held in Kampala, the one-day training brought together over 40 participants from across Wakiso and Mityana districts. The focus was on improving patient care, data collection, and early diagnosis of preventable diseases such as malaria and anemia.

Through interactive presentations and group discussions, participants shared experiences from the field and learned practical approaches to community health education. The session also included modules on patient communication, sanitation, and emergency response for rural settings.

“When we train the people who serve in communities, we multiply the impact of every outreach,” said the Foundation’s coordinator during the event. “Our goal is to ensure that every family can access quality, compassionate healthcare.”

This workshop marks another milestone in Humble Vessel’s ongoing commitment to equip frontline workers with the knowledge and confidence they need to transform community health.
